A man was killed after being ejected from his truck during a Wednesday morning crash on I-19 near Pima Mine Road.

State police have identified a man who was killed after being ejected from a pickup truck during a Wednesday morning crash on I-19.

Shortly after 7:30 a.m., a Toyota pickup truck was traveling in the right lane of northbound I-19 north of Pima Mine Road, when the driver made a lane change, striking a Mazda sedan, said Bart Graves, an Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman.

The sedan spun out into the median and the pickup truck rolled, during which the driver was ejected.

Alex Rodriguez, 20, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Rodriguez was a resident of Sahuarita, Graves said.

The driver of the sedan wasn't injured.
