Kintaro LLC has leased 5,654 square feet on the city’s east side to open a second Wok & Roll Buffet.
The restaurant serves Chinese and Japanese dishes, both buffet style and for takeout.
The existing restaurant is located at 3000 W. Ina Road, and the new spot will be at 5975 E. Speedway, where Serial Grillers was located before relocating a few blocks west.
Jeramy Price, with Volk Co., represented the landlord, The Wong Family Limited Partnership.
Wok & Roll’s new Speedway restaurant is expected to open in the spring.
Other local commercial activity includes:
- BWL Investments LLC bought 8,246 square feet of commercial buildings at 423-425 N. Tucson Blvd. from Village at Sam Hughes LLC for $1.2 million. Joey Castillo, Andreas Castillo and Dave Volk, with Volk Co., handled the sale.
- Sundt Construction Inc. leased 32,496 square feet at 2700 E. Commerce Center Place in the Airport Commerce Center to house the operations for the I-10 and Kino interstate expansion for ADOT. Isaac Figueroa, with Larsen Baker and Rick Volk, of Volk Co., represented the landlord. Michael Coretz, with Commercial Real Estate of Tucson, represented the tenant.
- Northrim Elevate Holdings LLC, dba Elevate Trampoline Park, leased 26,847 square feet at 6221 S. Palo Verde Road from 6221 & 6223 S. Palo Verde Tucson LLC. Stephen D. Cohen, with Picor, represen

- The last spot in the redevelopment project in the Rio Nuevo Sunshine Mile has been leased. Acai Brasil leased 1,614 square feet in the Sol Block, 2609 E. Broadway, for an acai and smoothie shop. The landlord, Larsen Baker, was represented by its brokers Elaina Carbo and Isaac Figueroa. Brandon DuFour, with West USA Commercial, represented the tenant.
- Juan Gabriel Santana and Lizeth Francisca Leyva leased 1,200 square feet at 1060 S. Kolb Road to open a second El Brunch Bistro by the end of the year. Their first location is at 3053 S. Kinney Road. Ana Aguilar, Jeramy Price, and Andreas Castillo, with Volk Co., represented the landlord, SRP Three LLC.
