Summer Heat

Chris Reits loaded palm tree trimmings into a chipper under the summer sun on June 12. Tucson’s average temperature in June was more than 2 degrees above normal.

In terms of weather, not much has changed this week in Tucson.

Tucsonans should expect more triple digit temperatures today. The National Weather Service says that temperatures are higher than average for this time of the year, though they may start to decrease by a couple degrees next week.

Of course, when outdoors, remember to stay hydrated and protected from the sun.

Also, we more than likely won't see any rain for a few days, but thunderstorm chances increase slightly next week.
