A Travelocity writer recently spent some time in Tucson and it's safe to say that he was thrilled with our "enchanting" city.
In the article, "9 Reasons Why We Were Dragged Kicking and Screaming from This Desert City," Jason Heidemann details why Tucson is Arizona's hidden gem.
"A multi-culti blend of Native American, Mexican and European influence with a population of a half million chill peeps and a harmonious blend of city and nature, Tucson is juuust right," the article says. "Sunny, funky and always buzzing, we’re darn near in love with the place and predict you will be too."
Saguaro cacti, the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, a pair of local hotels and Tucson's food scene (which Heidemann says is "pretty rad") are among the reasons cited in the article.
