A man killed in a fiery crash Friday on Interstate 10 near South Alvernon Way was identified as M.C. Holliday, authorities said.

Holliday, 48, was killed in a two vehicle crash at 7:20 p.m. at milepost 262 on eastbound I-10, said Bart Graves, an Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman, on Tuesday.

Holliday was driving a four-door Hyundai sedan that rear-ended a semi truck. The vehicle spun onto its side and caught fire, Graves said.
