Tucson Police and city of Tucson Environmental Services worked to contain a pig on the south side Monday morning. 

Tucson police and city officials had their hands full Monday morning, corralling a large pig on the south side. 

Tucson police received a few calls about a traffic hazard in the area of Wyoming Street and Campbell Avenue just before 7 a.m., which turned out to be the swine.

Police and workers from the city's Environmental Services contained the animal and Pima Animal Care Center was called, but the owner was located, Tucson police said.   

Tucson police and city workers had to corral a pig Monday morning until Pima Animal Care Center was able to pick the animal up. 

A pig on the loose kept police and city workers busy Monday morning.
