Tucson police are asking the public for help identifying two people linked to bank robberies in midtown Nov. 24.
A man and woman arrived together at two nearby businesses, and the man entered Arizona Central Credit Union, 787 S. Alvernon Way, said Sgt. Pete Dugan, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.
At the same time, the woman walked into OneAZ Credit Union at 777 S. Alvernon Way, Dugan said.
Each one indicated that they were armed and robbed the banks simultaneously before leaving the area in the same direction, said Dugan.
Both were captured on surveillance cameras.
The man is described as white and about 30 to 35 years old. He is about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a slim build. He has a beard and was last seen wearing a tan or gray hat with a "Star" logo, a gray polo shirt and khaki pants.
The woman was described as Hispanic and in her 50s. She had a lean build, reddish-blonde hair, glasses and was last seen wearing a long-sleeved red and white striped shirt and blue jeans.
Robbery detectives ask that anyone who recognizes the man or woman to call 88-CRIME, an anonymous tipster hotline.
