A man has barricaded himself in a vehicle with a weapon near the intersection of East Valencia Road and South Swan Road was taken into custody without incident, Tucson police said.Β
SWAT and hostage negotiators from the Tucson Police Department assisted the U.S. Marshal's Service, said Sgt. Pete Dugan, a TPD spokesman. He referred further questions to the marshal's service.Β
The intersection has re-opened to traffic.Β
