Tucson police detectives are asking for public assistance locating a suspect involved in an armed carjacking and robbery of a bank last week.

On May 24, the suspect pointed a handgun at a woman and demanded her gold Toyota Camry in a parking lot near 1300 N. Craycroft Rd. The woman was not injured, a press release said.

The next morning he pointed a gun at three employees inside a US Bank, took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene in the Camry.

Officers later located the vehicle in the East 22nd Street and South Turquoise Vista area.

The suspect is described as man in his 20s to 30s and around 6-feet tall. He may be associated with a white SUV, the release said.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to call 88-CRIME, an anonymous tip line.
