Veterans in Tucson will soon have a chance to learn about the various resources available to them, including business help.

On Oct. 19, inside the Pima Community College Center for the Arts, 2202 W. Anklam Rd., attendees will meet face-to-face with various representatives from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The theme of this year's Veterans Conference is "The Right Stuff!" where attendees will learn about hiring the right people to help drive a business forward. All veterans, their families and communities members looking to start or grow a business are encouraged to attend.

More than 30 organizations will be offering veteran support services at the event. Attendees can speak with healthcare professionals, veterans affairs representatives and education providers.

A free lunch will be provided as well as a special performance to close out the event, according to the event schedule.
