Coming off the heels of the hottest June on record, July's prospects aren't looking much better.
With "enhanced probabilities" for above normal temperatures, it looks like we might not get to enjoy July's average high temperature of 99 degrees, according to the U.S. National Weather Service in Tucson's monthly wrap-up.
Also unfortunate is the weather service's prediction that when it comes to rainfall in July, it's a flip of the coin.
Sunny skies are on the forecast for this weekend and while there's a possibility that showers and thunderstorms will make their way to Tucson Sunday afternoon or next week, chances are only about 10 percent.
