Many spots in the Tucson area received a fair share of rain yesterday.
Yesterday's storms included a lightning strike to a palm tree, multiple water rescues, and power outages.
Similar weather is expected today, according to the National Weather Service. Any storms today will bring along heavy rainfall, which could lead to flooding, so remember to take the proper safety precautions.
Enjoy the rain while you can — it's expected to be a lot drier next week.
