Motorists are met with driving rain West Ina Road near La Cholla Blvd. on July 10, 2018, in Tucson, Ariz. Strong monsoon storms pummeled the northwest side.

Tucsonans should prepare for more thunderstorms today.

A flash flood watch was issued for most of southeast Arizona around 12 p.m. today. The watch will be in effect until 2 a.m. Thursday morning, the National Weather Service said.

A severe thunderstorm warning was also issued for the Sahuarita and Green Valley areas.

The weather service reported this morning that there is currently no specific area in Tucson to expect heavy rainfall. However, areas with the most sunshine throughout the day are expected to receive the most rain.

In case you missed it, yesterday's monsoons derailed a train, closed roads due to flooding, and kicked off the power for some Tucsonans.

Some areas in north Tucson even received more than two inches of rain yesterday afternoon.
