Today's forecast calls for monsoon activity to be dialed up a notch, with heavy rains expected to run all day, and possibly overnight. A flash flood watch is in effect for areas to the east of Tucson from 10 a.m. to late tonight, but localized flooding will be a concern for much of the Tucson area.
The potential exists for some parts of town to receive two or more inches of rain in a short period of time, with gusty winds also on the forecast.
