Tropical storm Newton

Freshman students (from left) Kaitlin Denny, Isabella Marino and Karli Karberg don't let the inclement weather dampen their spirits as they walk near Centennial Hall on the University of Arizona campus on Sept. 7, 2016, in Tucson, Ariz. Remnants of Hurricane Newton pushed soaking rains and gusting winds across Southern Arizona.

For anyone who's relieved with May's cooler weather, there's at least a few more days in store.

Continued cool temperatures are on the forecast through Wednesday, with another storm system moving through the area today.

Isolated to scattered showers are expected to start later today with the best chances for precipitation tonight through Tuesday.
