Southern Arizona Greyhound Adoption

Mission: Transitions healthy and injured retired racing greyhounds to beloved pets; matches them with forever homes.

Wish list: dog food: Nature’s Domain (Costco) turkey & sweet potato; Authority (PetSmart) chicken, large breed; dog snacks (made in U.S. only); donations for medical care; sturdy dog toys, squeakers preferred; large collars, martingale collars and leashes; Kong snack filler toys, large/extra-large; comforters; XX-size wire crates; exercise pens.

Amphi Foundation

Mission: Promotes academic excellence through the expansion of resources that enrich the education, development and well-being of the students of the Amphitheater Public Schools district.

Wish list: new children’s clothing, (shoes, socks, underwear, pajamas, pants and jackets); new toys; bikes; nonperishable food items; personal care items (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant). All items will be distributed to Amphi families in need.

Learning About Diabetes Inc.

Mission: Provides free online diabetes-care information to help those with limited literacy skills and the less-advantaged with diabetes.

Wish list: Monetary assistance to help pay for the development of five lower-literacy diabetes-care videos in English and Spanish that will be available for free on our website
