US Customs and Border agents say they found 61 pounds of cocaine inside the fuel tank of an SUV being driven through the Nogales Port of Entry this week.

A Tucson woman was arrested this week when U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers say they found $691,000 worth of cocaine stuffed into the gas tank of her SUV.Β 

The 39-year-old woman was crossing through the Nogales Port of Entry Wednesday when a police dogΒ detectedΒ a smell in the SUV. After further checking, multiple packages of cocaine were discovered inside the tank.

The total wight of the cocaine was about 61 pounds. The woman's name was not released by the agency Thursday.
