Why: For her work with the Tucson Medical Center auxiliary sewing group. Miller has volunteered more than 13,000 hours for the TMC auxiliary in various positions. She was the chairwoman of the sewing group, churning out countless walker bags and compression heart pillows and many other items as they were needed for patients, Stannard wrote in her nomination letter. β€œShe was inspirational in her tireless efforts,” Stannard wrote.
