Tucson's Thanksgiving week: Mild

High temperatures will stay in the mid to upper 70s through the weekend. That's about 3 degrees to 7 degrees above normal from Wednesday through Sunday.
Lows will stay mostly in the high 40s all week.

Tucson's high temperature is expected to reach 82 degrees Tuesday, the warmest day of the holiday week, the forecast shows.

The week starts with an expected high temperature Monday of 77 degrees, the National Weather Service in Tucson says.

Thanksgiving Day in Tucson: 74 degrees. It will drop to a low of 50 degrees at night, the weather service says.

There's no chance of rain in the Metro Tucson area all week, but there is a slight chance for showers on Mount Lemmon both Saturday and Sunday.

Despite the higher-than-normal temperatures, the city's temporary outdoor ice skating rink, Tucson Holiday Ice, opened over the weekend at the Tucson Convention Center, 260 S. Church Ave. 

It will be open until Jan. 5.
