With a new year often comes New Year's resolutions, and for many people, that often involves self-improvement and living a more active lifestyle.
With such resolutions in mind, personal financial website WalletHub compared the 100 biggest U.S. cities to figure out which are the best and worst for promoting an actives lifestyle.
Using 34 indicators of an active lifestyle, WalletHub's data set ranges from average monthly fitness-club fees to bike score to share of physically inactive adults.
When the analytics were done, Tucson fared moderately well, coming in at 24th best on the list of 100 cities.
With an active lifestyle score of 43.93, Tucson beat out all the other Arizona cities on the list, including Scottsdale, Phoenix, Glendale, Mesa, Chandler and Gilbert.
Tucson also ranked 5th on the list for most public golf courses per capita.
