A Sierra Vista woman was injured Thursday when her car went over an embankment in Bisbee.
The woman was taken by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries to Copper Queen Hospital, said Carol Capas, a Cochise County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman.
The crash occurred at about 11:30 a.m. on Highway 80 near the Old Divide Road, said Capas.
The woman was the only occupant of the car.
State Route 80 on the east-side of the tunnel was closed for hours until the vehicle was removed from the embankment.
The crash is under investigation, Capas said. She said no further information was immediately available. Β
