Dear Editor,
If our city government wants to let homeless camps exist in the city, they should provide them with portable toilets. There is a homeless camp just a couple of miles up the hill from my house. It has been there for many years. I have a small garden at my house, and I do not want to water it with water that has untreated sewage in it. By implementing proper sewage disposal, garbage disposal and sanitary conditions, we have eliminated diseases like plague and cholera. We simply cannot have people living in the very populated inner city in these modern times without these proper sanitation measures.
