Two weeks ago I stood holding a sign with over 1,000 people from all walks of life in downtown Tucson. We all were protesting that our President provide his tax returns and show us that he is not making global decisions that benefit him and his family. Many of these folks had never protested before. It was wonderful seeing democracy at the grass roots level. However, the Star didn't show up to cover this amazing event, and when they did, it barley was mentioned. I am quite sure few protests have ever been this big or this interesting in the history of Tucson. Last week our group (Indivisible) marched to the Science Rally - one of over 600 grassroots rallies to support science around the globe. Again very little was said by the Star. Wake up AZ Daily Star, there is a huge movement happening right in front of your face. It is not a few disgruntled democrates, in fact our chair is a registered Republican. Publish the news, Please!
