Letters: Tucson's many wonderful murals

Re: the June 16 article "Murals capture Tucson's essence."

I've been part of The Tucson Murals Project blog for most of its nearly 10 years and 1,000 murals. (The tenth anniversary is next month.) Now we're publishing a series of photos of each of the new downtown murals being made — from the blank white walls at the start of May to the finished murals near the end of May. The blog is at tucsonmurals.blogspot.com.

(By the way: between the murals by Kati Astraeir and Rock Martinez, where Seventh Avenue crosses the railroad tracks, is a spectacular year-old mural by Joe Pagac.)
