Yes, the tax increase should be "TO FUND PUBLIC SAFETY" but ONLY FOR PUBLIS SAFETY!!!! Surely my fellow citizens believe the great need for these public services. However, It is yet again another bank roll for the City to grab dollars for improvement of our roads which are "A BIG MESS" !! I am against the City receiving 40% of the tax for roads!! The City Fathers are spending money on personal agenda items i.e. "metal art" for the streets which is a total waste of our money. "Street metal art" is not going to attract more visitors and industry!!! I am opposed to giving 40% to the City for roads. The City Fathers have continually dedicated lots of dollars for roads, but probably used for other things. Our roads should be up to par for the money the City has already received!!! I vote for 100% for Tucson's public safety, anything less is spending good money after bad.
