I had never thought of this being an issue until I read the article. His points are valid-students are transient and do not often seek permenant residence in the college district after graduating. I could see why a samll majority could shape votes on variuos issues within the district yet have no real vested interest after completing college. I am curious how other states handle this? Ann Arbor has a huge student population compared to the city itself and a very liberal student body.
