Tim Steller's article about the county's desire should have been named "Tucson voter's deserved to know the truth", not "Tucson voters can't handle the truth." It is easy to see the announcement to with hold this information was to deceive voters of Chuck Huckelberry's intention to raise the property taxes. He says “I didn’t want voters to be confused or for it to be used as an excuse for not approving the city elections,” Tim Steller does acknowledge that voters deserved to know the truth about his intentions to raise property taxes but the headline should have been Huckelberry intentionally deceived the voters so both would pass since the county one only has to be passed with a simple majority of the council.

It is easy to see Huckelberry's big pay raise and his handshake agreement to American Airlines to pay for the unfilled seats on the nonstop flights between here and New York , was a bigger part of his plan to deceive.
