Letter to the editor: Socialist countries not paradise

Re: the May 17 letter "Reaction to millennials' shift to socialism dated."

This recent letter to the Star demonstrates the blissful ignorance of many regarding socialism. I agree that those who support socialism aren't thinking. If they were to think and look to Cuba, Venezuela or other current socialist "paradises" that are wreaking human misery upon their citizens, they might not be so quick to applaud.
