Tucson Bicycle Classic

The 30th annual Tucson Bicycle Classic is hitting the roads this weekend, and several roads will be closed in the Tucson Mountain area and Sahuarita.

The three-day event includes more than 500 racers and runs from Friday, March 18, to Sunday, March 20.

On Friday, West McCain Loop Road will be closed from noon until 6 p.m. North Kinney Road will see extensive bicycle traffic from Old Tucson to McCain Loop.

On Saturday, the northbound lane of South Mission Road will be closed between West Duval Mine and Helmet Peak roads from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Duval Mine, Mission, Helmet Peak, and South La CaΓ±ada Drive will see extensive bicycle traffic from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

On Sunday, North Greasewood Road will be closed between West Anklam Road and West Speedway from 6 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Greasewood, Anklam and Speedway will see extensive bicycle traffic from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
