A woman and her cat escaped a rollover crash on I-10 without injury, after she swerved to avoid a mattress, causing her car to strike the side of a mountain before rolling across oncoming traffic.

A woman who crashed her car on I-10 near Dragoon managed to escape without injury, despite the fact that her vehicle struck a mountain before rolling in front of oncoming traffic.

In a video recorded by a commercial truck driver, 23-year-old Briana Disaia of Texas is seen driving a green Ford car, closely following the vehicle in front of her.

A mattress in the roadway causes Disaia to swerve, hitting a semi-truck to her right, then traveling left into the median, where it strikes a mountain, before rolling back across the freeway.

Disaia- who was wearing her seat belt - was able to get herself and her cat out of the car and was checked by paramedics, but refused medical treatment, according to an Arizona Department of Public Safety news release.

The driver of the vehicle in front of Disaia was able to see the mattress in the roadway and avoid it without issue, but because Disaia was tailgating, she didn't have enough time to react appropriately, the news release said.
