Near-record high temperatures are expected much of this week across metro Tucson.
High temperatures across the region Monday are expected to be in the low to mid 70s, the National Weather Service in Tucson said in its weekly forecast.
The high temperature Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday is forecast to reach 80 degrees. The high temperature forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday is 79 degrees. Sunday is expected to be 78 degrees.
Low temperatures this week across metro Tucson are expected to be in the mid to upper 40s, the weather service says.
A gradual warming trend is expected mid to late this week, the weather service said.
It could be breezy Wednesday in the metro Tucson area.
