Trump Blames "Jewish Americans" For Potential Election Loss

Donald Trump, during a speech at an antisemitism event in Washington, DC, suggested that Jewish Americans would bear responsibility if he loses the upcoming election. Trump vowed to be the "defender" and "protector" of Jewish Americans if re-elected but expressed frustration over polling that suggests only 40% of Jewish voters support him. "If Iโm at 40%, that means 60% are voting for somebody that hates Israel," Trump remarked. He further stated, "the Jewish people would have a lot to do with the loss" if he doesnโt win, warning that Israel could cease to exist within two years under Democratic leadership. His comments, delivered at the Israeli American Council event, continued the theme, lamenting that Jewish voters haven't treated him "properly" and criticizing those who vote for Democrats. Trump also urged his opponent to reject support from "Hamas sympathizers, anti-Semites, and Israel haters."
