Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the director general of the World Health Organization (WHO), says he was about to board a plane in Sanaa, Yemen, when the airport came under Israeli aerial bombardment. Israeli claims it was striking Houthi targets in the airport and other parts of Yemen's capital. The strikes on Yemen came as Israel continued bombarding Gaza, killing 21 Palestinians on Thursday, according to Gaza health authorities.
