Recently the Shiveluch volcano, one of Russia’s most active, began to erupt. The volcano sent clouds of ash and smoke high up into the atmosphere which, according to the Russian Academy of Sciences' Geophysical Survey, covered an area thousands of square miles wide. Veuer’s Tony Spitz has the details.
