After reading Joseph Morgans article in the Sunday AUGUST 6TH paper I just had to respond. I am a family physician with 40 years of experience, 35 of them in Tucson. Claiming that John McCain's vote on repeal of Obamacare was a betrayal to conservatives may be true, because his vote was a non-partisan vote for all Americans. It seems to me that Joseph assumes the Affordable Healthcare Act is "a disaster", as does our president, harmful to all Americans and (catch-phrase) needs to be "repealed and replaced" as soon as possible. A dictator once said if you say something often enough and loud enough eventually people believe it "(I think it was Adolf). Obamacare IS NOT A DISASTER! I have had several patient families return to my practice after losing their insurance and eventually getting coverage under ACA plans. My own bartender son was "bare" when an MVA wiped him out financially, now he has an ACA plan that even he can afford.
