We already have plenty of revenue in Arizona if we just stop giving it away to the corporate lobbyists.

In an address about unsuccessful attempts by legislators to get a meeting with Governor Ducey on Tuesdayto get funding for schools, Steve Farley reports that in the current fiscal year there were 13 BILLION dollars spent on corporate loopholes in Arizona.

An example he gives is that the 4 inch pipe that APS uses is entirely untaxed while the pipe we all buy for residential is fully taxed. The cause for this is, once again, lobbyist campaign contributions.

Farley says there are over 300 such corporate loopholes that even many Republicans in our legislature would be glad to get rid of.

There is no shortage of solutions to our public education crisis, just a lack of public concern when compared to the "debt" owed to those who buy our elections in Arizona.
