Pac-12 has rich baseball history

Arizona has been considered a “baseball school” for 70 years. But when you compare the numbers, it’s humbling to know the Pac-12 has many “baseball schools.” As of MLB’s opening day last week, USC has produced 128 big leaguers, ASU 125, Stanford 92, UCLA 85, Arizona 79. The Sun Devils have 11 current MLB players; Arizona two: Rockies catcher Nick Hundley and Pirates reliever Mark Melancon
