Pima coach Quiroz quietly building powerhouseย 

Armando Quirozย has quietly built Pima College into an NJCAA softball powerhouse again this year. The Aztecs are 26-6 overall and in second place in the brutally difficult ACCAC at 21-5. He has done it with two local pitchers, Desert View gradย Odalis Orduno, who is 8-2 with a 1.92 ERA, and Canyon del Oro gradย Alexis Alfonso, who is 14-1. The Aztecs are one game behind 22-4 Phoenix College in the race for the league championship.ย
