Reimer, daughter of ex-Cat Davis, making name for herself 

When UConn beat Notre Dame for the NCAA women’s basketball championship Tuesday night, Taya Reimer was a starter for the Fighting Irish. Reimer is the daughter of Ben Davis, who in 1995-96 finished No. 2 in the balloting for Pac-10 Player of the Year while averaging 17 points for an Arizona Sweet 16 team. Reimer averaged 10.2 points and 6.1 rebounds as a Notre Dame sophomore.
