Rincon/University grad Thompson loses PGA playing privilegesΒ 

Rincon/University gradΒ Michael Thompson, who won the PGA Tour’s Honda Classic in 2013, no longer has full playing privileges on the PGA Tour. Thompson finished 146th on the yearly money list; the first 125 are fully exempt for the coming season. How did this happen? Statistically, Thompson fell from No. 71 in driving accuracy to No. 152, and from No. 68 in greens-regulation to No. 128. But Thompson is only 30; he should be able to get in the field for at least 15 PGA Tour events next year.Β
