Rondae hires Excel Sports' George
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson hired Mike George from Excel Sports Management to operate his pre-draft routine. Excel Sports represents everyone from baseball’s Derek Jeter and golf’s Justin Rose to NBA star Blake Griffin. I’m not saying college athletes are destitute, but Hollis-Jefferson last week transmitted photographs of himself playing golf and at a paintball excursion in Tucson. Most college kids can’t pay the $60-$100 needed to play paintball for a day. So when you declare for the NBA draft and sign with an agent, you hit the first tee and rent some paintball gear. Kids, right?
