Manzo Elementary garden program

Daniel Leon, 7, proudly displays his harvested leaf of swiss chard as Manzo Elementary School students harvest produce from the school garden for consumption in November, 2014

Students of Manzo Elementary School will be selling the produce they grew in their school garden to the community from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. today.

There will be lots of fresh greens, including arugula.

The school is located at 855 N. Melrose Ave. and the market will be set up on the little kid's playground pick-up/drop-off area on Ontario Street, which is on the north side of the school.
