Tucson High's Human Rights Club is hosting a fundraising dinner to benefit victims of the earthquakes in Mexico.
The students hope to raise at least $1,000.
The event includes a bean-and-cheese burrito dinner and entertainment by the school's mariachi band and Folklorico dancers.
Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased in advance at the school or at the door.
Students will also be collecting supplies such as flashlights, first-aid kits, brooms, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items and infant supplies for World Care, an organization that distributes items to disaster areas.
