If you're looking for something free, fun and educational to do Thursday night, check out the St. Michael's STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) Festival.
You'll be able to talk to scientists from the UA and from within the school and community from a wide range of disciplines including forensics, medicine, climatology and archaeology.
First-grade students will share their investigations of famous inventors, fourth, sixth and eighth graders will share their science fair projects.
There will be math games and LIVE bats.
National Optical Astronomy Observatory will be there with optics activities such as a laser target challenge and polarization investigation.
And, Physics Factory will be there with hands-on demos and fun activities the whole family will enjoy.
