Tucsonans got their first look at the Arizona GymCats Saturday as part of the squad’s annual showcase.

The 2025 season will get underway Jan. 4 at the Pacific Coast Collegiate Challenge meet against Southern Utah, Rutgers and Wilberforce in Oceanside, California.

The event is one of five away meets. The schedule also include six home meets, all of which will be televised on ESPN+.

The home meets launch Jan. 17 with the Air Force, to be followed by Denver (Jan. 31), Utah (Feb. 7), Iowa State (Feb. 14), BYU (March 8) and Utah State (March 14), according to a news release.

In addition to Oceanside, the GymCats will hit the road for the ESPN Collegiate Quad on Jan. 10 in Oklahoma City, which will feature Clemson, Michigan and NC State.

They will also take on Arizona State on Jan. 26 on the road before heading to Fort Worth, Texas, for the Metroplex Challenge on Feb. 21 against Arkansas, Oregon State and SEMO. The final away meet will be West Virginia on Feb. 28.

The Big 12 Championships are set for March 22.

Saturday’s showcase featured six freshmen: Olivia Childs, Jessa Janicke, Aubrey Krohnfeldt, Amelia Rock, Jillian Silvers and Teagan White, a news release said.

Fifth year senior, Elena Deets, along with seniors, Alysen Fears, Elizabeth LaRusso and Emily Mueller also returned to the floor.
