Arizona freshman forward Ira Lee will sit out the Wildcats' game with Cal today because of symptoms from a concussion he suffered in practice on Feb. 20, the program said.

It will be the fourth straight game Lee has missed with the concussion, though UA coach Sean Miller said Thursday that Lee's symptoms were improving.

β€œWith the concussion tests, you have a number of symptoms,” Miller said. β€œHis symptoms have maybe dissolved into a single symptom so that’s a good sign.”

While the reserve forward may not be needed against the last-place Bears, he will likely be next week while the Wildcats play up to three games in three days in the Pac-12 Tournament.

Arizona will play its first Pac-12 Tournament game at 1 p.m. Thursday against the winner of the 8/9 game between Colorado and ASU on Wednesday.Β
