Allonzo Trier is off to a solid start in his rookie season with the New York Knicks. On Wednesday night, Trier scored a game-high 25 points in the Knicks' 107-102 win over the Brooklyn Nets.

Trier shot 8-of-12 from the field and 8-of-8 from the free-throw line in 26 minutes off the bench. The former Arizona Wildcat grabbed four rebounds, one assist and one block, but also committed five turnovers in the preseason game.

Fellow UA product Rondae Hollis-Jefferson did not play for the Nets due to a left abductor injury. 

Trier was productive early and finished the first half with 20 points and scored 12 just in four minutes. 

On Monday night against the Washington Wizards, Trier scored 13 points in 21 minutes. Trier is 14-of-14 from the free-throw line in the Knicks' two preseason games, both wins.

The Knicks will return to action Friday at 4:30 p.m. at Madison Square Garden against the New Orleans Pelicans.
