University of Arizona vs USC

Arizona guard Allonzo Trier (35) works against USC guard Derryck Thornton (5) bringing the ball into the attack in the second half of their Pac-12 game at McKale Center, Saturday, February 10, 2018, Tucson, Ariz.

With the NBA Draft coming up on Thursday, teams are squeezing final workouts for players looking to improve their stock.

Former Arizona Wildcats standout Allonzo Trier is scheduled to work out for the Philadelphia 76ers in a six-man group on Monday.

Angel Delgado (Seton Hall), Nana Foulland (Bucknell), Kelan Martin (Butler), Dakota Mathias (Purdue) and Yuta Watanabe (George Washington) will also be at the workout.

Trier is projected to fall anywhere in the second round and the Sixers have four picks in that range: No. 38, No. 39, No. 56 and No. 60. If taken by Philadelphia, Trier could fit in as a key scorer off the bench.

Although he played heavy minutes as Arizona's backup point guard last season, Trier could focus solely at playing shooting guard with Ben Simmons, Markelle Fultz and T.J. McConnell at point guard. The only other shooting guards on roster are J.J. Redick and Marco Belinelli so Trier could have an immediate impact if the Sixers were to choose him with their one of four picks in the second round.

Along with the Sixers, Trier has also worked out for the Lakers, Suns, Timberwolves, Kings, Bulls, Celtics and Pistons.
