Arizona's Deandre Ayton is expected to attend aΒ college basketball award show in Los Angeles that will be on ESPN2 at 5 p.m. on Friday.

Ayton is scheduled to be joined by Villanova's Jalen Brunson, Duke's Marvin Bagley, Kansas' Devonte' Graham and Oklahoma's Trae Young at a ceremony that will announce the Wooden Award winner and the winners of the Naismith's positional awards.Β 

Brunson is the Wooden Award favorite, considering he has already won the Naismith, Oscar Robertson and Associated Press Player of the Year awards (on top of helping Villanova win a couple of national championships)

Ayton is a finalist for both the Wooden Award and the Naismith's Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Award, for which Bagley is also a finalist.


Add Fordham's Joseph Chartouny to the list of grad transfers the Wildcats are pursuing (according to Jeff Goodman).
