The Arizona Wildcats have offered a scholarship to three-star 2019 shooting guard Iverson Molinar, a native of Panama who is now playing high school ball in Southern California.

Molinar broke out as the top player on Team Why Not in Peach Jam competition last July, and Rivals' Matt Moreno said that Molinar can handle the ball but is a good shooter who is best at scoring.
UA went to watch Molinar this week in Orange County and offered him after doing so.Β
Molinar will be playing for his fourth high school in four years, having played at Oaks Christian in Westlake Village, Calif., in 2015-16, Trinity International in Las Vegas during 2016-17 and Covenant Christian in 2017-18. He moved back to Southern California this season, and it's clear heΒ doesn't like the cold.
UA has also been recruiting a number of other guards, including five-star Josh Green and four-star Boogie Ellis, but North Carolina may be leading for Green while the increasingly high-profile Ellis received an offer from Duke on Tuesday. UA is also in among the final four choices for Bella Vista four-star guard Terry Armstrong.
